Winter/Spring Intern 2019

The Laura Flanders Show is a TV and radio program that seeks to raise radical spirits by interviewing forward-thinking people who have real experience of shifting power, from the few to the many, in the worlds of arts, entrepreneurship and politics. Past interviewees include Arundhati Roy, Noam Chomsky, and Naomi Klein.
We are seeking a winter/spring intern to assist with daily administrative tasks and production. The intern will have a choice of where they would like to focus -- whether video production, marketing, or podcast. Our preference is for someone who is interested in podcasting and audio recording.
Hours: 20 - 30 per week
Duration: January 21 to May 21
Pay: Monthly Metrocard ($110) + School Credit
Location: Brooklyn, NY
Ideal candidate has shown demonstrated interest in nonprofit or social justice, as well as in media -- potentially a young professional, student, or recent graduate. There is an opportunity to work on the video, audio, podcast, or communications aspects of the show, although responsibilities will be decided specific to the candidate.
